All About Arms with Darise Barron

Instructor Darise Barron is bringing the energy as she leads you through an ALL ARMS workout with the flexibility to go light or heavy based on your preference… after all, this is YOUR workout and time to learn! You will find an emphasis placed on form, alignment, and coordination. This is a comprehensive strength training session as you are guided through a warm-up, a working block, and a cool-down. You will need two sets of dumbbells for this workout, one set light and the other slightly heavier, as you begin with hammer curls, shoulder press, bent over rows, tricep kickbacks, and so much more. She will guide you through sets that are alternating, tempo-based, and even isometric, so there is lots of variety in this workout! Darise fills this workout not only with exciting arm exercises, but she also provides tips and tricks for moving the weight and proper alignment to achieve safety and efficiency, such as “keeping the weight in the working zone” and “being in charge of the weight.” From light weight to heavier weight and even body weight, plus varying the tempo of the movement, you will for sure feel the burn in the arms after this session!

Continuing Education Credits (CECs) & Renewals

If you learn best by doing – we’ve got you covered! At IFTA we offer a variety of educational videos worth 3.0 IFTA CECs (Continuing Education Credits).

Regardless of which Certification you have, you may choose any topic to use towards renewal.

  • A One-year renewal requires 5 earned CECs over the course of a year.
  • A Two-year renewal requires 10 earned CECs over the course of two years if all are from IFTA.
  • Mixing and matching CECs from an approved partner company is allowed only for a two-year renewal.
  • If mixing and matching, 8 CECs must come from IFTA, and 4 can come from an approved outside source.
