AMRAP 1

This session is all about strengthening the entire body, from lower body work to upper body work, led by instructor Carter Collins. She challenges you to complete this AMRAP by working through as many rounds as possible with a certain rep count for each movement within a set time, such as an 8-rep goal for goblet squats and an 8-minute timer. Find a range of dumbbells for this workout as you are targeting all muscle groups of the body, performing exercises like the deadlift, chest press, pullovers, seated tricep extensions, single-leg squats, and much more.

Carter provides endless cues and programming tips for coaching your own class and adaptations you can make to tailor to your participants. She encourages you throughout this workout to pick up heavier weights for the legs since these are where the largest muscles of the body are located, while adapting varying bases of support for upper body movements. Continuing Education Credits (CECs) & Renewals

If you learn best by doing – we’ve got you covered! At IFTA we offer a variety of educational videos worth 3.0 IFTA CECs (Continuing Education Credits).

Regardless of which Certification you have, you may choose any topic to use towards renewal.

  • A One-year renewal requires 5 earned CECs over the course of a year.
  • A Two-year renewal requires 10 earned CECs over the course of two years if all are from IFTA.
  • Mixing and matching CECs from an approved partner company is allowed only for a two-year renewal.
  • If mixing and matching, 8 CECs must come from IFTA, and 4 can come from an approved outside source.
