Have you ever wondered what makes IFTA the superior choice for fitness and wellness certifications? Owner and operator, Carter Collins had the opportunity to sit down with Campus Rec Magazine to discuss all things wellness and why you can feel confident in the lifetime learning options IFTA offers fitness professionals.
1. Who is Carter?
Carter Collins is a Registered Nurse and the Owner/Operator of IFTA. Carter found her passion for fitness and wellness while she was in college obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Carter’s friend was a group fitness director and encouraged her to try instructing just for some extra cash.
What was a side hustle turned into a passion for Carter. To this day, Carter uses her medical degree to craft cutting edge fitness programming and to run IFTA. This knowledge allows her to make IFTA stand out in the industry and provide those who are looking to build their careers with high quality, yet affordable education options.
2. Why IFTA?
You may be wondering if our certifications are accredited by the NCAA. Here at IFTA we believe it is important to offer inclusive and affordable fitness education.
To keep costs fair, IFTA obtains approval and verification annually through the Federal Government’s SAM program (The System for Award Management) versus paying for accreditation through the NCAA. Being third party verified, we pride ourselves in affordability without sacrificing quality.
